Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made on viklight.com, operated by Stonehill Parts AB (Org. nr: 556850-9953). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.


1. Conclusion of Contract

A binding purchase agreement is entered into only when you receive an Order Confirmation via email. You must be at least 18 years old to shop at Viklight. If you are under 18, parental consent is required.

2. Pricing and Payment

  • VAT: Prices include Swedish VAT (Moms) at 25% for private customers. For business customers, VAT is displayed as a separate line item at checkout.

  • Pricing Errors: We reserve the right to cancel orders in the event of obvious pricing errors (e.g., a technical glitch resulting in a price of 0 SEK).

  • Payment Methods: We offer secure payments via Klarna By choosing these methods, you also agree to their respective terms.

3. Shipping and Delivery

  • Dispatch: In-stock items are normally shipped within 1–2 business days.

  • Delays: If a significant delay occurs, you have the right to cancel your purchase at no cost.

  • Uncollected Packages: We charge a fee of 250 SEK for packages not picked up from a service point to cover shipping and administrative costs.

4. Right of Withdrawal & Returns (Consumers)

  • 14-Day Statutory Right: Under the Distance Contracts Act, private consumers have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase.

  • 30-Day Extended Return: Viklight offers an extended return period of 30 days.

  • Condition: Items must be returned in their original packaging, undamaged, and in resalable "as new" condition. We reserve the right to apply a value reduction if the item has been handled more than necessary.

  • Return Process: You must contact info@viklight.com to receive a Return Number before sending any goods back.

5. Warranties and Claims

  • Warranty: See specific product descriptions for warranty lengths. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation or external impact.

  • Claims: Swedish law gives consumers the right to complain about a product for up to 3 years, provided the defect was original.

  • Transport Damage: Any damage sustained during transport must be reported to the carrier and our customer service immediately upon receipt.

6. Installation and Technical Responsibility

  • Professional Installation: We strongly recommend that all lighting products be installed by a qualified automotive technician.

  • Vehicle Compatibility: The buyer is responsible for ensuring the product is compatible with the specific vehicle and its electrical system (e.g., CANbus requirements).

  • Liability: Stonehill Parts AB is not liable for costs associated with assembly, disassembly, or potential damage to the vehicle's electrical system caused by incorrect installation or product use.

7. Force Majeure

The Seller is exempt from liability for failure to perform certain obligations under this agreement if such failure is due to circumstances beyond the Seller's control, such as labor disputes, fire, war, government intervention, or delivery failures from suppliers.

8. Privacy (GDPR)

9. Disputes

In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved through customer service, we follow the recommendations of the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden - ARN).
